Students can participate in tests for free and practice with quizzes available on the platform. Institutions may subscribe to our premium service to unlock additional features, dedicated support, and team access.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using CBTHost.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Your continued use of the platform after any changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access

5. Pricing & Payments

CBTHost offers both free and premium services:

• Premium service for institutions is available at $10 per month or $100 per year (save $20 with annual plan)
• All prices are subject to change at any time. CBTHost reserves the right to update or increase subscription costs with 30 days notice
• Once payment is made, it is non-refundable after 7 days, or immediately non-refundable if significant usage has occurred
• Payments cover access to services, including cloud hosting and technical support for the subscribed period
• Subscription renewals are automatic unless canceled before the renewal date

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are not guaranteed. Users may request a refund within 7 days of payment if the service has not been actively used. After this period, or once services have been utilized, payments become strictly non-refundable.

To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@cbthost.com with your transaction details and reason for the refund request.

7. Student Participation

Students may access quizzes, take assessments, and practice using CBTHost free of charge. No direct subscription fees apply to students.

Students are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
• Adhering to academic integrity policies set by their institutions
• Using the platform in accordance with these terms and any additional guidelines provided by their educational institution

8. Data Security

All institutional and student data is stored safely in our cloud infrastructure. While CBTHost employs modern security standards to protect your information, no system is entirely free from risks.

Users are responsible for:

• Safeguarding their login credentials
• Implementing appropriate security measures on their own devices
• Reporting any suspected security breaches immediately

9. Intellectual Property

All content on CBTHost.com, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of CBTHost or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws.

Institutions retain ownership of their specific test questions and content, while granting CBTHost a license to host and display this content through our platform.

10. Limitations of Liability

CBTHost shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the service or contact us to delete your account.

12. Modifications to Terms

CBTHost may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on our site and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Users are encouraged to review this page regularly.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
